Vedic Astrology

Western Astrology
Tropical zodiac with Placidus, Koch, or Equal house systems. Major and minor aspects, psychological transits, and solar arc progressions.
Compatibility
Vedic Ashtakoot Guna Milan (36-point scoring) and Western synastry with inter-aspect analysis — both systems available, often in the same session.

Conversation context supports continuity. Understand what it contains and how long it is kept.
What you send
The profile details needed for the feature, questions and conversation context. Free text can contain personal information beyond the fields a service asks for.
Storage & deletion
Permanently deleted after approximately thirty days, including originals and backups held by AstrologyAPI. This is an approximate cycle, not a fixed day-thirty deadline.
AI & model use
AstrologyAPI never trains models on user data. Our main AI providers are OpenAI and Gemini, and we prohibit their use of customer data for their own evaluation. Provider-specific retention and processing arrangements are separate from our own storage cycle.
Keep passwords, API secrets and unnecessary sensitive information out of prompts. Your application controls any chat copies it stores independently.
Infrastructure & service providers
We use AWS and Google Cloud infrastructure in India and US regions, Cloudflare for DNS and website hosting, and R2 and S3 storage. These are overall infrastructure details, not exclusive residency commitments for every product, provider or backup. Service-specific arrangements belong in your agreement.
